Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel is a modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material plastically stretches behind the brush, while at the same time holding the given shape well and not spreading during work. Due to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to spread into the upper molds: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without rushing. The dense controlled consistency allows you to work with several molds at once, without worrying that the material will flow or lose the desired architecture. Delicate sparkles add a special effect to the coating, which create a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of light rubbing.

Features:

• It has a very thick and viscous consistency, so the material does not spread and allows you to work with the mold calmly.
• It is practically not self-leveling, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and each stage of modeling can be controlled.
• It has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built-up architecture of the nail well.
• The material is close to solid in its properties, so it is important to control the thickness of the coating during modeling, especially in the cuticle area.
• It has moderate cushioning at 1 mm thickness, which makes it as stable as possible and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Definitely needs a Rubber Base backing.
• UV/Led lamp power 36-48W.
• The permissible coating thickness is 0.5 mm at the end/1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:
STRENGTHENING

1. Withdrawal.
2. We do not file the nail shape or leave it 2 mm long, which we will remove after leveling.
3. Use a 220-grit file to file the nail without applying strong pressure from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buff.
4. Let's do a manicure.
5. If we work with removers, we wash our hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two approaches. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First approach: wipe the surface of the nail. Second approach: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. We use a primer if desired, but if the base for the substrate has sufficient acidity, then it is not needed.
8. The Rubber Base LUNAmoon base coat is best applied with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing. We draw all the sinuses of the nail and dry in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. We erase the stickiness.
10. We level the nail plate with gel, leaving a distance of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. We do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so excess material on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate can cause peeling. Dry in a lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after it has been smoothed out. This is necessary so that a thickness forms on the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to cut 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no peeling of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material from the free edge.
13. After filing, we erase the stickiness and cover with gel polish.
14. Cover with top coat. Dry for 120 seconds. After drying, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Withdrawal.
2. We shorten the length of the nail to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Use a 220-grit file to file the nail without applying strong pressure from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buff.
4. Let's do a manicure.
5. If we work with removers, we wash our hands with soap after working with them.

9. We erase the stickiness.
10. We set the form for building the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply the clear gel to the shape of the artificial nail. Dry for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe away the stickiness and excess dust.
14. We apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon again to the areas where the saw was used. Let it dry for 30 seconds.
15. We perform gel modeling, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. We make a small indentation from the cuticle. We put it in the lamp and clamp the arch at about the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After clamping, we dry the material in the lamp.
16. Dry in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. We erase the stickiness before covering with gel polish.
18. Cover with top coat. Dry for 120 seconds. After drying, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

COMPOSITION: Acrylates Copolymer, IBOA, Silica, TMO, Mica.

Shelf life: 24 months. Store opened for no more than 18 months.
