Rubber Base gel polish base

RUBBER BASE is a transparent, universal, elastic base designed for nail leveling.

Features:

• Has an acidity level of 3–4 pH.
• Minimal shrinkage during wear is possible due to the elasticity of the base.
• May cause a warming or burning sensation on damaged or very thin nails (not on healthy nails).
• Can be used as a base layer under all types of coatings and for extensions using gel tips.
• Medium consistency, self-leveling.
• Recommended lamp power for curing the base: 36–48 W. The lamp must be original.
• Main rule during leveling: the thickness at the free edge of the nail should be 0.5 mm.
• Provides wear without lifting for 3–4 weeks.
• Can be easily removed by filing or with soak-off liquid.
• Suitable for self-leveling on short nails.
• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral odor.

Application Method:

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length to be filed after leveling.
3. Using a 220-grit file, gently file the top of the nail without applying strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap afterward.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Apply in two steps. Use 4 wipes total (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   Step 1: Wipe the nail surface.
   Step 2: Wrap a wipe around an orange wood stick and clean the cuticle area and sidewalls thoroughly.
7. Apply dehydrator.
8. Apply Ultrabond LUNAmoon (optional). Before application, wipe the brush with a lint-free wipe to remove excess product. Apply Ultrabond LUNAmoon to all 5 nails using a semi-dry brush. Wait 1 minute for it to absorb into the nail plate.
9. The Rubber Base LUNAmoon base layer is best applied with a flat gel brush. Use rubbing motions. Carefully cover all sidewalls and cure in a lamp for 60 seconds.
10. We recommend not removing the sticky layer from the base, as it helps create chemical adhesion with the following coating layers (gel, color, base). Removing the sticky layer weakens chemical adhesion and increases the risk of lifting.
11. Level the nail using Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure in a lamp for 90 seconds.
12. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the free edge that will support the nail edge.
13. After filing, remove the sticky layer and apply a thin layer of gel polish or camouflage base.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as this may reduce shine.

Ingredients (INCI): Acrylates Copolymer, Isopropyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Butyl Acetate, Microcrystalline Wax

Important! Rubber Base is highly sensitive to ultraviolet light and may polymerize faster than classic bases.

• To avoid premature polymerization, we recommend not working near windows or under direct sunlight. Even on cloudy days, daylight may trigger polymerization.
• Do not leave the jar open under bright artificial light, avoid working near an active UV/LED lamp, and store the product in a dark place.
• We recommend not removing the protective seal completely. Instead, make a small opening for product access. This helps minimize light exposure inside the jar and reduces the risk of premature polymerization.

Shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store for no longer than 18 months.
